All clinicians at West Coast Psychiatry are psychiatrists. To be a psychiatrist, one must complete 8 years of training across medical school and psychiatry residency. This physician-level training is considered the lengthiest, most standardized, and most rigorous training that any mental health prescriber can undertake. 

Although a title on its own does not guarantee excellent care, you deserve to understand the training background of your clinician. And when your clinician is a psychiatrist, they possess a breadth and depth of clinical knowledge that may be instrumental in helping you.
