  • Marie-Anne Hawkins

    Principal Clinical Psychologist

    Marie-Anne Hawkins has completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology as well as post graduate studies in Organisational Psychology and Educational Psychology. She is registered with the Psychologists Registration Board of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Marie-Anne is also a member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis and the Christian Counselling Association. She has had vast experience working with people at all stages of the lifespan from pre-school aged children right through to the elderly. Marie-Anne has specialist experience in the areas of relationship counselling, critical incident debriefing, trauma and grief, the treatment of depression, anxiety, panic and agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress syndrome. She has also worked with clients facing difficulties related to substance abuse, stress and burnout and life change issues as well as chronic fatigue, pain management and sleep disorders. Marie-Anne also is well versed on the needs of children with intellectual disabilities and their families. Additionally, Marie-Anne has strong business and people management skills which translate into high quality business related services including consultancy, coaching & training.

  • Craig Harms

    Registered Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist Registrar

    Craig Harms is a psychologist who is working towards achieving a specialist title as a Clinical Psychologist. Craig is registered with the Psychologists Registration Board of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Craig has experience working with adults in mental health settings. He has also worked with children and their parents on developmental concerns, as well as counselling adolescents when he worked for a number of years as a school teacher. Craig has also provided psychological services to sports teams, and individuals within a sports context. He is in the process of completing a PhD in Psychology. Craig also has undergraduate degrees in Science (Majoring in Psychology) and Physical Education; a post-graduate diploma in teaching; and a Master’s degree in Education. Craig works on a part-time basis as a Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Social Science at Edith Cowan University. His research interests include Resilience, using technology in the psychological interventions, and Sport Psychology.

  • Diane Broderick

    Registered Psychologist

    With a Masters in Community Psychology, Diane is committed to the ongoing health and wellbeing of people in the community. She also has an extensive background in maternal and infant health, the care of those affected by life threatening illnesses, and in family issues including the care of children and the elderly. Diane aims to help people to recognise their own strengths, skills and abilities. This includes working with individuals, couples and families. The focus of Diane’s counselling skills is in the practice of assisting those who are faced with psycho-social or health concerns, including: anxiety & depression, stress management, grief and loss, transition as a life-factor employment and adjustment issues, self-esteem and assertiveness, dealing with conflict and anger, communication strategies, relationships issues, being a carer and suicidal ideation. Diane is registered with the Psychologists Board of Western Australia. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Community Psychologists.

  • Vanessa Watson

    Clinical Psychologist

    Vanessa has completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree at the University of Western Australia and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree at Curtin University. Vanessa is registered with the Psychologists Registration Board of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has worked as a clinical psychologist in various settings, with individuals and with groups at different stages across the lifespan and with a range of difficulties. Vanessa is particularly passionate about working with youth, and with issues related to sexuality and gender identity. Her therapeutic approach is to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for people to explore the meaning of their difficulties, to better understand themselves and their relationships, and to explore ways to resolve their current dilemmas and issues. Children, adolescents, adults, couples and families are all welcome to seek Vanessa’s services for difficulties including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns, trauma, sexuality and gender issues, self-esteem, and alcohol or substance use.

  • Julie Kendall

    Mental Health Social Worker

    Julie Kendall has a Diploma in Professional Counselling, a Bachelor of Social Work and a postgraduate certificate in Mental Health. Julie has specialist experience working with people with different levels of ability, people involved in the legal system or engaged in hospital care, the elderly and people living with HIV/AIDS and cancer. Julie is also well trained in helping those facing substance abuse issues to re-engage with life in the general community. Julie uses a strengths based approach and her value of equality and human rights to empower and advocate for her clients while protecting human dignity. Mental health Social Workers are accredited and assessed by the Australian Association of Social Workers as having a specialist knowledge and expertise suited to working with people with mental health issues. Like other allied health professionals Mental Health Social workers use a range of interventions and skills to assist the client. Julie often works in tangency with our psychologists/ clinical psychologists to promote maximum therapeutic gains for our clients.
